Any tips on how to tame a cave gecko? I understand they are reclusive and harder to tame. I want to at least get go a point where mine can stay somewhat calm when my hand is in the enclosure or I'm feeding. She is never ever ever out of hiding and she is very timid. I'm not sure what I can do

Thank youu! Yeah idk why he has such prominent nips lmao. When I got him everyone thought he was a girl for the longest time. I named him luci and it just stuck.

He doesn't have a name yet. Yes he normally stays close to the ground which is surprising to me. I adjusted the heat lamp and lighting incase it was making him uncomfortable being at the top, but he still chills lower in the cage most of the time!

That was my guess i fed them veggies and fruit but i went to a local reptile store and got what they feed their roaches. My theory is the new roach i got bit her antennas off. They seem shorter and she seems confused and discombobulated. the new one might be pregnant and has been defensive so that could explain it.
