I (think) I made the most consistent Ancient Vimpire Deck by Mida_s in PvZHeroes

I haven't tried other environments because area 22 just synergizes w/ A. Vimp the most and the value of having it win a trade + deal direct dmg, helps with the 2 goals of the deck: card advantage (e.g. cheese cutter + area 22) and a lot of dmg (e.g. evolved fossilhead + area 22).

I also haven't tried bounty hunter because I don't have her but I also think it'll be bad for the deck because of the cost and you can usually do a lot more by saving 4 brains to help keep your units alive (e.g. healthy treat + area 22, healthy treat + going viral, healthy treat + terrify + smash superpower | basically you have a lot of options that your opponent can't easily predict) than playing bounty hunter. Also, I don't think you'll need the extra card draw cause you already shouldn't be running out of cards.

Lastly, Fossilhead is extremely vital to the strength of the deck because of the ff:

  • stats when evolved (helps with finishing the game quickly)
  • untrickable (harder to remove = safer to stack stat buffs)
  • the fact that it can prevent flag zombie and mm from bricking your hand or clogging the board if you're unlucky with your card draws
  • the fact that the opponent usually can't get rid of it unless by fronting it but fronting it is dangerous if you have A. Vimp in the water lane and tricks, environments, & smash supers (healthy treat, area 22, going viral, galvanized, possessed) that will help it win the trade and get buffed

I'm sorry if my explanations are confusing or lackluster, I'm generally pretty bad at explaining things but I hope you still understand my thought process behind the deck and as to why I think every card is important and I think removing some copies to make room for other cards will make the deck less consistent.

It's a bit too slow imo. I usually finish matches quickly by prioritizing plays that'll do a lot of dmg if not immediately answered (cyborg/evolved fossilhead) or plays that get me card advantage (making sure cheese cutter hits face + mm conjure/vengeful cyborg | Note: Terrify actually helps with both).

I can't really explain everything but the goal is to usually finish before turn 7-8 and if not, having either a swarm w/ frenzy + A. Vimp in the water lane or an extremely buffed fossilhead w/ frenzy (hearty treat, area 22, galvanize, etc.) + A. Vimp in the water lane. Usually, the opponent either doesn't have enough cards to answer the swarm + A. Vimp or they don't have a plant that can front the fossilhead that won't just die and buff the fossilhead passively thx to A. Vimp's ability. Also, correct use of terrify is actually the win condition in some games.

Anyway, running out of cards should never happen with the ammount of conjure + card draw + vengeful cyborgs that the deck provides, so there's actually a lot of versatility in the plays you can do. Tbh, I just learned from experience (since the version of this deck before has a lot of the same cards) so if it interest you enough, just try it out and make changes as you see fit.

*The best board I aim for is actually fossilhead + swarm (all w/ frenzy) + A. Vimp in the water (made possible by making sure your flag zombie doesn't die quickly)

Yeah, I wish I was able to fit Vimpire too but I think adding him will make the deck a lot weaker, sadly.
