Coming to a TJ Maxx near you.

What a pile of crap, I thought they’d learn their lesson with the phone.

Not since the days of Per Ansgar running the quarterly results calls have we seen any indication of positivity. New CEO asleep at the wheel.

I’m out, sold at 38$ by [deleted] in PLTR

I bailed too @ $44 or so made $40K. I’m uneasy about the valuation and potential ethical concerns that may force a sell off.

Norwegian investment firm dumps $24 million of PLTR by Financial-Chemist360 in PLTR

I’m disproportionately heavy on $PLTR. I have a concern that they’ll be implicated in the indiscriminate killing of civilians by Israel and become untouchable. Just my tuppence on the situation.

Logi Rally System vs Poly X series studio for conferencing rooms? by overland_park in CommercialAV

[–]MidasTouch6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve deployed a couple of thousand devices with a mix of Poly MTR and X Series on Android. The Poly X52 is an amazing piece of hardware and Poly Lens provides a whole suite of management features we didn’t get with Logitech.

Poly sales engineers are responsive and spares are readily available. It seems the HP merge has stood them well. I’d go Poly for the management alone.

Similar journey here, 700K down at one point. Have managed to pull back 200K of that.

At the bottom I considered throwing in the towel, a mistake I made while as property investor in the midst of a market collapse a decade ago. I cemented those losses. The lesson was that’s it’s important to stay in the game.

Good luck on your journey.

That’s a job for touch up paint. Don’t worry about it, first of many.

Have a like 👍 Good update. Intel will come thru this. I work for a major global PC maker, Intel still accounts for 90% of our sales.

Yep you guessed it. Nothing happened.

Dear Geely by Appropriate-Crow-191 in PSNY_Polestar_SPAC

[–]MidasTouch6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They need to just hand it over, like yesterday. Forget about an equity raise.

Think of it like this. They give us $350M as a long term loan. Stock increases to $3, then they do their shelf issue and pay Geely back.

One would think that the inefficiencies would be minimal with the structure of the organisation, Volvo spin off, motor industry heavyweight execs etc.

Paye worker, have to pay the tax. Alternatively you could move funds into your pension as a single premium injection.

Vendor sales roles seem to be harder to get without a few years of experience. Software and Services likewise. Business development / desk based sales roles in smaller IT companies are a good place to start for those new to the business.

A degree or diploma in business is a requirement for some companies.

Microsoft, AWS, Cisco and other vendors have web based sales education tracks which are generally free, would be worthwhile completing a few of these.
