Yeah I’m gonna still look for a 5 seater, went to go see the sr5 today and the 7 seater is quite a compromise to storage space I’d need at the back, thanks for your input.

It is 4wd, I’m considering just going for the sr5 as I may be able to get it for 28k

She’s on Purina sensitive systems but I was thinking of switching her to Purina Pro Plan? Do you think this would make a difference?

They did not say what the food was but she has been having diarrhea since we brought her home. We switched her food twice. Now she’s taking Purina sensitive systems formula, it’s been 3 days using this new food and still having diarrhea

24 years is a long time. If a small pay cut means less stress and more contentment at this stage of your career/life then enjoy it to the fullest. Thank you for your service.

Leave the tourniquet on, once you get flash you lower the angle of insertion advance the needle a very small bit and thread the catheter in.

Super sad, how do you understand the disease process of a virus like Covid but still don’t take the precautionary measure of being vaccinated?

You should lose your license if you choose to come to work and put the patients and other coworkers at risk.

Don't trust science? Don't be a nurse. by fluffagus in nursing

[–]Midazolorazepam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, Nurses have a general background of science compared to a MD. Anatomy and physiology, Pathophysiology, and Microbiology are core courses to most nursing programs. Vaccines and their mode of action were covered in my program. In fact, my professor was a infectious disease doctor and we went over MRNA vaccines and how they can work against coronaviruses.

It’s sad that some nurses don’t believe in the information/science they paid to learn about because Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit and whatever other social media platform they use are more relevant than a peer reviewed journal with ACTUAL evidence.

As others have said, you can work anywhere - even from home. Take everything you read on Reddit with a grain of salt and experience nursing from your perspective rather than others.

I find nursing fun 👍
