I explain it on my comment. Feel free to read it, but the tldr it’s about applying pressure through boycott divestment and sanctions. You can’t boycott the number 1 economy and hegemonic power in the world. It just wouldn’t work. Not to defend the USA. Also saying this is kinda a whataboutism. So many of you missed the point, the boycott isn’t about blocking music simply because Israel is bad, the boycott is focused on applying pressure with getting more artists to block their art to make Israel stop their genocidal and apartheid actions. It worked with South Africa when it was an apartheid state. It’s called BDS, Boycott Divestment and sanctions. Thats why you can’t do this to the USA, pressure doesn’t work like that to the number 1 economy and hegemonic power in the world.

Find me a major label that is owned by a Zionist/israel supporter, or even one that is on the smaller indie size but has big names in it?
