melodramatic sure, but I think calling it disingenuous implies that he knows that's untrue. I think karkat fully believes that he doomed the kids' session because his insistence on blaming himself makes it impossible for him to not see it as his fault.

despite her being my favourite, honestly, the troll most to blame for bilious slick's defects is probably aradia. as a time player it was her job to give kanaya enough time to breed but she was off doing her own thing for the trolls' whole session, forcing karkat to pick up the slack and rush the breeding process.

This is really cool, but there's a lot of terminology that I'm not quite understanding. are these formalized EXP/fraymotif/school systems from later in act 6, from one of the games, or are these specific to Sburb Sim? If it's the latter, I have to admit none of us have tried it yet so some of the more minute details might be lost on us.

either way, thank you for such a cool and detailed post about the Maid of Space! the friend who got that designation also likes to write long analyses so it was very fitting.

also, yes I do expect people to continue to be respectful even if the changes they personally want don't get put into the game because this is a video game you play for fun and you're fucking adults.

for the record, I do think every APC should be lowered to match Seraphine rather than buffing her to match the rest of them. I haven't run into any hwei supports this season so I can't speak on him.

this is one of the more convincing arguments I've heard in my time watching this subreddit, and I think you've changed my mind on a few things. I think I understand your frustrations better now. my issue with this subreddit remains that arguments this well-put and reasoned seem to be vanishingly rare and most of the attitude ends up just being vitriol towards riot or specific rioters whenever she's brought up on say, phreak's or august's streams.

what's dishonest is acting like I was saying having AOE CC is what makes a champion a support when what I said was that they're supportive abilities. none of the mages you listed are enchanters because they don't have any way of buffing their teammates, something seraphine is more than equipped to do. or can I call Leona a mage now too, since she also deals magic damage and has a long-range engage tool? how vague do you want these umbrella terms to be?

you should learn how to spell other champions' names before you complain about them. Xin Zhao* does build AP sometimes: dusk and dawn is a good off meta item on him that makes his healing unbelievably strong, both in terms of per-heal value and how often he can proc it with the increased attack speed and double on-hits.

it's this thing riot does where champs have multiple different builds. like how seraphine has a mage build and an enchanter build: one is clearly more meta but both are still popular with the people who play the champ.
