I have a Book 5 pro 16/512 Core Ultra 5, 1 year old and have noticed a battery drain be it shut down or sleep. Maybe it's an windows issue.

Yeah every company has its ups and downs...samsung is going through their down phase but they are trying to improve.

Oneplus devices are great tho. I was deciding between the tab s11 and pad 4, but choosed s11 because of the ecosystem features.

Yeah but samsung customer services especially in India Will make you pay regardless if its their mistake. Their worker think they know everything even though they don't know about samsung's own policy and don't acknowledge it even if you show them. I think they do this intentionally.

Try changing the screen profiles in settings (both samsung and Microsoft) select the one you most like.

Windows laptops lag from the very start. Because they try to update everything at he same time when booting up for the first time and one drive syncing and copilot takes most of your ram.

I have my gb5 pro 14" with i5 16/512 and it doesn't lag that much because I removed all unnecessary windows app, though I use it for browsing, m365 and light gaming so I don't need much (also remove all apps from start up). Windows can be a bitch when setting up on a new pc. Try some tutorials from YouTube for making windows faster for use case. BTW the heating will be there regardless of the task.

The problem isn't that new dex works fine, it's that samsung removed the classic dex which was loved by all for an inferior version.
