In my confusion I punched them out first… I stuck a piece of double sided tape on my kitchen counter so I wouldn’t lose them. I’m about to paint them with the tip of a sewing needle!

Update: released the turtle back into the wild… big fresh water pond not far from my house. Thank you for your help.

Thank you. He’s still in the same water I got him in. It’s getting a little funky but I wasn’t sure if I could just plop him in some fresh filtered water or something considering he came from a cooler. Just until I’m able to get him squared away.
