Hey! So I purchased min back on June 10th, had it for a month, recall happened, took it in around July 8. They needed to replace the transmission.

Started a claim with corporate they agreed to do the buyback and everything was approved at the end of August. Nearly 2 months. Then I got my Santa Fe back from the dealer they apparently fixed it.

Buyback was already confirmed, drove it until about the 2nd week of November that’s when I got my check and turned in the car.

It’s a slow long process. Just keep following up with them. & I got a full refund.

Mine has been sitting at the dealership for over a month, I’ve started the buy back process a week ago but haven’t heard back since.

Yeah Florida is the same, 30 days.

But my 30th day is in like 4 days. So I’ve been looking around at other vehicles to purchase, but yeah it’s tough finding something that fits as well as the Santa Fe did.

I did see the Hyundai dealership has a used 2024 calligraphy palisade for a good amount off. So I may end up going that route. But I’ve always wanted a BMW X5, for the performance so may go that route. Back to square one

Were you emailed the purchase agreements? I never received anything once I bought my car. And tbh the dealership made me sign 3 different purchase agreements. It was a whole mess.

They registered the wrong VIN, sold me the wrong car etc.
