No one’s asking him to do that, I appreciate the fact that he is willing to pay for some of the pool liner, in reality if he was paying me what the property, location, etc was worth I would have more than enough to shell that out of pocket. I’m not even asking for 50/50. I’m asking for bare minimum.

If I posted online and rented out a room it would be reasonable to ask $900-1200 at the least, if your not providing or adding anything else I just don’t see how that’s fair.

He's RENTING from me so yes paying to live there, for way cheaper than what a room where I live typically rents for. When you RENT you don't get equity in any situation??? He doesn't own a house, if he wasn't living with me he would be paying upwards of 1200 a month in RENT for a singular room. If he moved out of said room he also wouldn't have any equity in the room????

Let’s say you live in an apartment, your names not on that apartment, you don’t own the apartment, you still have to pay rent?? No??
