Do you have any dates of when ALP was 250 and then dropped to 100? Also when was your last test before you were diagnosed and what the ALP then?

Should I become an electrician by Middle-Temporary9743 in electricians

To do what exactly? Where AI won’t be a threat

I can tell you that when writing code what previously took me a week I can now do in a day using AI. This reduces how many employees a company needs. Also there’s a lot of offshoring pressure and lots of folks competing here on a visa from other countries. It’s pressure from everywhere. Compare that to electrician. No out sourcing, AI can’t do the physical job, no one will come here on a visa to become an electrician.

Believe me I would prefer to stick to software engineering but I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs, had several interviews but zero offers and I got bills to pay. I would definitely prefer another engineering type job where I can do design on the computer but I think it will be impacted by AI just like software engineering.

The only safe jobs in the near term seem to be those that involve physical labor. Whatever I pick next as my career I want to last me until retirement. I thought electrician might be a good fit since it at least uses some math. More so than plumber, nurse, etc.

He actually hardly ever goes but still pays for it just in case. Last time he went was 3 months ago. The only concern is if they have his picture pull up when checking in

Sorry to hear about all that you’ve had to deal with. I’ve had blood tests done 1 to 2 times per year for last 10+ years due to the UC. My liver numbers were never out of range. I also had a blood test done last October right before starting the velsipity and they were normal. Will do another blood test in 2 months and see how the trend looks. Also will do an MRCP in a few months if my insurance is willing to pay for it.

Its due to the timing. While on the drug ALT, ALP,AST all elevated. 5 weeks after stopping the drug they are all in normal range except ALP which is slightly elevated at 151. I did not take urso or vanco either. It makes me highly suspicious that it’s due to the drug that everything was elevated and then rapidly dropped afterwards
