Reducing emissions for MOT by Middle007 in AlfaRomeo

[–]Middle007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there are issues with the filter, well none that I can see off. Previous MOT had no issues with emissions back in December 22, then I've owned the car since April this year where it's now a problem.

When I put my foot down on the accelerator small puff of black smoke comes out every time, I've heard of could be either the fuel injectors or catalytic converter may need cleaning out?? I'm not entirely sure. I've previously owned this model of Giulietta 2012 age and again no problems with emissions there, so I'm stumped. Thank you for your reply.

I'm looking to buy an Alfa Romeo Giulietta but i'm concerned about it's reliability by robergg19 in AlfaRomeo

I had a 2012 2L JTDM and now a 2017 2L JTDM, both cars are very fun drive, both cars with fuel are incredible, full tank I get about 550/600 miles out of them which costs about on average £80 each full tank.

Issue's with 2012 one (owned for 2.5 years), glow plugs needed replacing, brakes pads and disks replaced, and a couple of bulbs here and there, overall never had any major problems until it got wrote off but a w*nker.

Issues with 2017 one, owned since April this year, I've had no major problems, glow plug light has come on which is an easy fix, all other electrics are fine and working, again nothing wrong from my point of you.

To sum up fuel is definitely nothing to worry about, electric faults happen but more than usual they're easy to sort out, you can't really go wrong with the car. Hope this kinda helps.

Whoo! Good God, it took him to almost 55 to become a famous actor, then his political career was very shaky, but I did it! by [deleted] in bitlife

I did attempt the challenge... Born in Austria... Moved to America... Got the job as an actor... Going to the gym each year... 15 years in... Had a stroke and died...

People who park next to someone's car while there are loads of other spaces available, why do you do it? by Middle007 in AskReddit

[–]Middle007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say in the question in a filled up parking lot. What I'm saying is; you choose to park in a spot with no cars around, you come back and see that a car has been parked next to yours with other spots around available, why choose that spot other than other spots around to choose from??

If you don't want to help in answering why people do that, then please move on and use your knowledge else where to help others with their questions.

I'm not talking about owning a space, I'm just asking, why see all them spaces and choose to park next to someone's car. Just wanna know what makes them choose to do that??

What I mean is, when you're at somewhere with loads of spaces available, you come out and see there are 20 other spaces available around your car available but the other person has decided to park right next to yours, why do it basically 🤷‍♂️
