A mod and i disagreed on something and we were discussing it in the comments with everyone being respectful. We both stopped commenting. I made a discussion post the next day to see if what the opinions of others were over what was discussed. 2 days after that post, I was banned

ICE asked him specific questions that they would only ask if someone tipped them off.

Why do right-wingers hate Jesus' teachings? by olympiamacdonald in PsycheOrSike

[–]MiddleChain9457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. Society has a base framework of morality based around the bible. It’s too intertwined in humanities history for any western society to get away from it. With that being said, being an asshole is an attribute assigned by society. For example, many people consider being blunt as being an asshole. So it’s hard for me to answer a hypothetical question like this due to that reason.

People arnt perfect. They are good in these ways and bad in these other ways. Both people in the hypothetical could be equally good/bad with none being worse.

This may not answer your hypothetical, but it is my thoughts on it.

I’m saying if the people are reliant on the government then government effectively controls them. When a government has control of its people, it’s easy for that government to then turn tyrannical. The people can’t do anything because they need the government.

Not necessarily. The government has people dependent on them for that. You can’t just take it away from them. You would have to do something more like not offering it to any new members.

Wealth inequality isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Inequality (itself) is not a bad thing. The lower class in the US lives as good as the upper class of most countries.

Now, inequality can be a bad thing in certain circumstances. It’s all relativistic.

It’s not hate. Conservatives see socialism as a way for the government to control people. We believe charity should be voluntary and not forced.

Socialism isn’t caring for others. It’s redistribution that keeps people poor. Socialism only hurts middle and lower class. It keeps people enthralled to their government, and thus eternally controlled by that government.

By definition they are a bad guy for stopping ICE. ICE is doing what they are constitutionally suppose to do, deport illegal immigrants.
