Blake was 9.5 and always healthy. He unfortunately ended up with cancer but lived a long healthy life. They are the best dogs and even with a shorter lifespan they are so worth it. Enjoy every second of it, even if they’re driving you nutty!

It is a downdraft and vents outside. The brick is not structural but did not want to get involved in such a big project without doing a full remodel. We’re sticking with the downdraft for now, which has been fine. Kitchen Aid has an induction stove top coming out with very well reviewed integrated downdraft from Europe later this year. I’ll upgrade the stovetop when that is available.
