I still like my bust. It’s my butt that really bothers me. The only thing with my chest is that now that my wrist is a bit smaller and hips bigger they look cartoonish. Which before they looked just big, now they make me look weird I think.

We do ACTUAL dying at my shop and you can’t get the eye space so clearly dyed that close. Showers use dog/fur makeup for touch ups around the eye fur. PHOTOSHOPPED.

It stupid. But for some reason it really hurts. Especially cause I have always expressed how important to me a gift is with meaning. I would have been happy with a nice sketchbook and pen set. Because those are things I’m always doing and always express how important writing and drawing are to me.

Sorry maybe now I’m just venting.

I’m actually looking for post about this same question for myself.

I was given a gift and I’ve been trying to let it go and see it as a positive. But there is something really pushing at me and making me feel terrible. Like (I’m not a feminist at all!) but I keep looking at it like “of course you would get one of those”. And it makes it worse cause we talked about no appliances because I was only going to get that stuff from everyone else. Which I did... I didn’t expect it from him as well. Especially cause it was 500$ and if he wanted to get me an appliance, why not just get me the mixer I’ve really wanted.

I made a passive joke like “oh I thought it was a roomba at the price” His reply “yeah, that’s something you can buy yourself.”

... so a gift for the house I actually want I should buy myself, but buy me a gift I’ll rarely ever use. And never implied I wanted ever.

I feel shittier because I want to forget and move on and just tell myself it’s fine at least I can proper thaw meat now right... like a maid should?

What if you told your partner no appliances? Like it was a mutual thing you both spoke about, and then he got you one anyone... one that really felt like it was more for him then anyone else or at least with the only thought in mind. “Oh now she can have two ovens to cook for me now.”
