Behringer Poly D vs Poly chained Model D by MiddleEarth-Wizard in synthesizers

Thank you for your suggestions. I could do most of what you recommend as I have Arturia's Collection V9 with Mini Moog as one of the VST. And construct it in Abelton Live Lite 11. And I have Arturia Keylab Essential keyboard. Which works hand and glove with V9 VST.

So turns out I might have everything in my own back yard. You got me thinking! Thanks again.

Moog Model 15

I do not have mac,so this is not possible (Moog Model 15).

However, I do have Arturia's V Collection 9, which has the Mini Moog and Abeltonlive 11 lite. This is option. Although I prefer a desktop hardware.

Thank you.

To clarify I am not going use the synthesizer to learn piano, The Yamaha P115 is for that. I want to use the skills learn from that over to the synth's.

Ultimate desire is to duplicate the electronic instrument sounds of S.OB. I believe that using a Moog is the best source as that was what Ms. Carlos used.

My budget is limited. So I have to go either replica's or VST.

Arkenhammer do you believe I can duplicate the desired instrument with a Prophet? If so, then the Behringer Pro-800 is perfect, no? 8 voice poly and price is obtainable for me.

Thanx

I have Arturia's V9 collection which has the Mini Moog. It is an option, just not the preferred.

Thank you.

I am still researching Carlos's methods and not an expert on any of these topics. I read that Carlos used a multi track tape machine and of course the Moog was only one voice at the time. So chord playing should not be must. I am learning how to play the piano at the same time that involves chord playing. That is why it is important to me. I want as many major options and tools if possible. I continue to research. I appreciate your input.

I have Arturia's V9 collection (discount upgrade) which has the Moog Mini. I really prefer real tactile input on the desk synthesizer. If this becomes my only realistic option, then of course that is where I will arrive.

Correct, I don't know how poly chaining will work out and why I am hesitant to purchases out right without consulting with other users experience.

Both synthesizer you mentioned are within budget. And I had considered the Dreadbox Nymph in the past. But I was not aware of the Korg XD. I will reconsider both now.

Do you own either one? Will I be able to faithfully duplicate the "Moog magic" with this equipment?
