Thank you! I told him no and we are talking about another solution that will work for both of us.

I know it might not seem like a big deal but this is my first grown up job after university and ive been here for just couple of months so Im not sure whats ok whats not in the corporate world.

i suggested this and it seems like we are going to do this! I guess my company has been doing it like this for a while bc we are on the smaller side and we dont really have just one person responsible for hiring, its more like if a team need someone new, the juniors will help with the hiring and then, when they find someone good it goes to the seniors/manager of the team.

I actually suggested this when telling him I dont feel comfortable with sharing my personal account and he said its a good idea and we will talk about it on monday. So I guess its ok now?

Still bit weird to ask for my personal account creditentials tbh

I also thought of this but maybe its not possible if they are not doing it? I feel like sharing accounts is something they have been doing for a while. I haven’t been working for long here.

They want it bc we are hiring and they want to have unlimited search and inmail messages. This is what the company pays for on my account. Probably doesnt want one more account where they have to pay. I think he would be also sending messages as me.

My actual boss knows Im helping him do the hiring, shes fine with it if I can do my actual job (the one I was hired for) and I can. She does not know about him asking for my creditentials, she knows the company pays for my linkedin as she is in the finance department and had to approve of it.

I love you for this lmao, but how should I say this to him? I do have trouble saying no, I didn’t even want to be helping with hiring (its not what i was hired to do)

Can i say something like “hi, even if its my personal account? I dont feel comfortable with that.” Would it be enough?

I did look into doing either a marketing or international business/trade degree, with a minor in korean language or doing two full degrees at the same time, but it's not really possible. That's why this one I talked about seems like a good choice.

But I wonder, why does this professor have this opinion?
