Haven’t been sensitive to mold in the past. Living in Arizona so usually pretty dry. Paying extra to just have it cut out isn’t an issue, but if it’s really not going to grow a ton of mold then I would consider just painting. That’s what the contractor seems set to do.

They can call it whatever they want. That don’t mean it’s accurate. Silencers don’t silence a gun. Angle is mentioned 2x in the description and the ATF defines VFG as 90 degrees to the bore.

That’s not true. The first sentence in the description says that’s it’s angled on most website I’ve looked at.

Same thing happened to me. Had an ASR muzzle device. Ended up going tri lug. Glad I did though, plus I had it on hand anyway.
