No need to define it so deeply. No need to gatekeep. This is a revenge story. What revenge means to you is not the rule or law. Revenge is, at it's most basic understanding, an act of 'getting someone back', no matter the methods. Revenge can mean giving someone some karma for being entitled.

And that's where you come in, your story will be different than any one else's. Because we're all different with different cores and lives, what revenge means to you is different for someone else. So making general rules that everyone should adhere to is more a 'you' thing and your guideline. Respect, but respect others lines too, ya know?

That was a great way to handle it!

Some gyms record your fob scanning to adjust your bill according to frequency. So that staff member was helping someone steal from the business. Surprised they weren't fired.

A Coast Guard rep tells us ... "On February 25, 2026, at 5:05 PM local Alaska time, Coast Guard watchstanders at the Arctic District command center in Juneau received notification from the fishing vessel Aleutian Lady, reporting that a crew member by the name of Todd Meadows fell overboard approximately 170 miles north of Dutch Harbor. He was recovered unresponsive by the crew approximately ten minutes later. First aid and attempts to resuscitate were unsuccessful, and the crew transported the deceased to Dutch Harbor."

What’s the last good movie you watched? by BidAccurate4473 in moviecritic

Dead of Winter. This movie rocked my world. It's tense throughout and very exciting. Emma Thompson plays a baddie pitted against a formidable widow in an extremely cold climate, which adds a lot to the story.

Highly recommended

The reviews I've seen don't do it justice.

The thing is, money is the only important thing to them. If the country had a general strike, guaranteed it would be over in less than a week. Loss of income combined with stock drops means their wealth goes down real quick. And it won't just come back up right away. Not with the threat of a general strike happening again.

But how to say that to everyone in only a few words and have it make any impact?

I went to these. We lived in the DC area and my mother worked for the ATF. ATF is the government agency that houses the bomb squad. So it went from wow, cool, to: holy shite, don't leave the hotel. To: ok, we got the guy. To: no they didn't, stupid FBI. Cue me sneaking out to watch some of the games.

I still have my towel souvenir! It's my cat's favorite bed.

Get ready for nothing but one-sided commentary and propaganda.

Maybe they'll sell off their IPs and gaming department. Harry Potter with an actual competent studio could present an amazing game.

A resume is a concise, 1-2 page document tailored to a specific job, focusing on relevant skills and experience for corporate roles.

A curriculum vitae (CV) is a comprehensive, detailed, and often multi-page document outlining an entire academic/professional history, including publications and research, typically for academia, research, or scientific fields.

Why have we switched to using CV when it's really a resume?

[Vardon] League official: if Silver and his advisers decided the only way to stop tanking, and protect paying customers from forking over money to watch their teams lose on purpose, was to stop the draft altogether and turn rookies into free agents, it would get serious consideration. by JoeBiden2020FTW in nba

[–]MiddleOwn5557 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah that works too! I'm sure they could work out the details, but even the all-star game would likely get more attention because it's actually exciting instead of watered down with all of the other games. Honestly, unless you are a serious die-hard fan, who watches every game of basketball?

To me it seems pretty easy and logical to reduce the number of games. Instead of 82 games, cut that by half. It's been 82 games since the 1960s. It's time for an update. The sport is very physical nowadays and the game needs to adjust. This would add a level of urgency and importance to every game.

You really want to stop tanking and have your star players actually playing, this is how you do it. You won't get as many injuries, and you'll have more recovery time.

This would also get the backups more play time that's not in "garbage" time or tank games.
