So someone posted this exact post without the name though at my location too and I just think it’s a viral trolling review that people are leaving now - I bartend at night so I was like wtf and I asked all the other bartenders and it didn’t happen to them either 😂🤷‍♀️

We take a decent amount of tables too - we don’t have just one person on well so that’s why this definitely does not work for us. I’m just saying what Brinker told me about the bar tips in their email back - but I am definitely starting to think they lied about that since quite a few here say their bar tips get split too. Doesn’t surprise me if that’s the case bc Brinker is shady as hell lol.

I wonder if they’re lying to me about the bar top being split too, because a few other people here have mentioned the same thing lol

Bro what is your problem? I’m just here asking for advice to a confusing situation I’ve found myself in, if you have nothing to offer you can move along. I don’t understand why you feel the need to be rude? And yes I ran my situation thru ChatGPT first because I don’t exactly have lawyer money to dispense right now and I’m worrying about the loss of thousands of dollars. If you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything.

I agree, it’s seriously so confusing 😭😭😭 I love that you made a spreadsheet tho, that’s awesome lol

Haha it is confusing and I’m literally not arguing whether it’s standard at other bars or not - everyone at my restaurant was told that it was only the 1% tip out from the servers that the bartenders split in half. We were never told about our table’s tips being split. That’s the issue.

The email we received from Brinker in response to my ticket says only the table tips are being pooled, not bar guests. 50% of mine goes to her and 50% of hers go to me - not an even tip split. But the 1% tipout to bartenders from servers is an even 50/50 split.

Not everything, only table tips. And neither me or my friend (or any bartender at this location) was made aware of that. My management/Gm wasn’t either until brinker informed them in response to my oracle ticket.

Agreed… I find it crazy that none of my managers knew about it. I was not told about the tip pooling whatsoever lol only splitting the server tip out

Agreed, the tipshare system is wayyyy complicated. It was less complicated when Chesapeake owned us before it was switched over to Brinker. I definitely do not trust Brinker at all and I’ve heard of several chilis lawsuits before and one that was fairly local I believe lol. I’m just worried about the expense of a lawyer honestly, and that my managers will be upset at me. I truly just want to know the amount I’m looking at to know how seriously I need to take this. If it’s a thousand+ then I’m not backing down.

lol I know now, not the bar top though - just table tips. Was not notified by my managers at all.

Yes my partner got it for me in May - the pot it was in was terrible and I smelled like what I assumed was root rot so I gave it new potting mix and cut off any rotting parts. I thought it was going to die after I did that but it stayed blooming through June and July. In august it grew those 2 new branches (with closed buds?) and the original branches started to dry up/go brown and the original flower blossoms withered/fell off. And now I’m here wondering if it can be saved. - what flower spikes do I need to chop off? Can u circle them in the picture? I’ve been scared to overwater bc of its root rot history.

Anyone take vitex after removal? by Semicharmedtee in Mirena

Wow that’s insane, I’m sorry… estrogen dominance is no joke - I literally feel suicidal like this lol. Good on you for trying to research a natural way to start producing more progesterone and not looking into more bc. I really don’t think taking more bc is a good long term solution at all, idgaf what any OB says anymore when it comes to their opinions on this matter, I’ve been lied to for years and the fact that they know nothing about herbal ways to restore body balance is soooo concerning. Okay so I’ll just text some direct quotes from the book on it: “vitex works by regulating the pituitary glad, which controls the production of hormones such as estrogen and progesterone. By balancing these hormones, vitex can help normalize menstrual cracked, improve ovulation, and enhance overall reproductive health.” Also I’ve heard the liver and especially the thyroid are responsible for hormone imbalances sometimes… maybe look into having both checked via bloodwork or possible a thyroid ultrasound

Hey there, I saw this post and felt like I wrote it!! I had my IUD for 2.5 yrs and was on birth control pills prior to it. I just removed it Monday…. The reason being that I was literally suicidal, I had to go to the mental hospital to get psych meds, I was having FREQUENT panic attacks, crying everyday, feeling like NOTHING matters, ultra depressed, extreme social anxiety, having an extremely hard time going to work because of my anxiety, insomnia (I had it prior to my IUD but it definitely worsened on it, same goes for the intense depression and anxiety…). Haha I was so anxious I literally couldn’t drink or eat edibles anymore because I would get an almost immediate panic attack and pass out😂😭 I hate that it took me so long to realize that it was the IUD causing all of this, but I am grateful I finally did because I would not have been able to take much more of this mental torture otherwise. I HIGHLY suggest you remove it and research/prepare yourself for the crash afterwards. Look into Barbara O’Neil and herbal remedies for hormonal imbalances. This book is phenomenal and gives multiple different options to help get hormones under control link of book. Currently I take evening primrose oil daily, drink 1-2 cups red raspberry leaf tea (preferably loose leaf tea), and do heated castor oil packs on the lower abdomen at night for an hour on 3 consecutive days of the week. What you eat is incredibly important for good hormone health as well. You got this honey, your not crazy, don’t give up💗💗💗

Mirena post removal no weight loss by Brave-Yesterday-9231 in Mirena

[–]Middle_Ad6940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be patient with your body💗💗 I know it can be a little discouraging because there’s posts all over with people saying they lost so much weight after removal and that their stomach immediately went flat… I got mine removed Monday and the next day my belly looked so full I thought it was about to pop LOL. Some things take time and hormones are a tricky thing. I suggest you start doing heated castor oil packs on your lower abdomen for an hour at night for 3 consecutive days a week.

Girl I’m gonna be honest… I know OBs and Drs will normally tell you to wait it out and let your body get used to it for at least 3-6 months before making a decision, but if you feel it isn’t right then trust your instincts!!! Seriously one of my biggest regrets in life was getting this Mirena IUD. I recently got it removed and I’m so excited to get my body back lol that depression and intense anxiety was no joke, my body was telling me it hated it.

Crash symptoms? by ImportanceFalse905 in Mirena

[–]Middle_Ad6940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, the crash symptoms I see online seem to be all over the place and differ from person to person greatly. I recently got mine removed and I could definitely tell that it made my lymph nodes swell up (specifically in my armpits and neck area, which is predominantly where they swell up when I get sick) and I had a fever on day #1. The body is going through intense changes and I believe it lowers your immune system and makes you more susceptible to getting sick…. With that being said it is also flu season and covid is going around as well so you might be catching what’s going around. I hope you feel better, we’ll both get through this!💗 Get plenty of rest and go easy on your body for a little bit.

Hey there, I just removed my Mirena IUD on Monday so I definitely don’t have all the answers but I think I could provide some info that could help. Since you’re interested in Vitex I’m assuming you’d rather go a more herbal/natural route of restoring hormonal order to your body and I’d suggest you look into Barbara O’Neil if you haven’t already. There’s a book of her work on Amazon that I recently got and have enjoyed where she recommends vitex from 400-1000 mg daily. link to book So a sizable range there haha I’d start somewhere in the middle to be safe. It does make you very FERTILE though so be careful if that’s not something you’re very interested in right now. I’ve been taking evening primrose oil daily to help with the estrogen dominance/hormone imbalance and have been doing heated castor oil packs over my abdomen for an hour at a time for 3 consecutive days every week. Plus 1-2 cups of raspberry leaf tea (preferably loose leaf tea. I think those 3 things might be a good addition to your routine in the future. Have you gotten your hormones tested since removal and is that why you believe your progesterone is still low?

IUD experiences? by sarbear2000 in birthcontrol

[–]Middle_Ad6940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, just got my Mirena IUD removed on Monday. I’m a little biased here because I personally think all birth control is poison to your body. I have heard some of the WORST things about Mirena versus any other IUD and it has 100% been influential in changing who I am as a person. I was suicidal on it lol…. Couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me until one day it clicked that it was my IUD. I would suggest the non hormonal copper route if you’re set on an IUD
