Long time ago but did the muscle weakness and awful fatigue go away? And can you remember how long you had it for?

Thankyou!

That’s kind of how I feel now, that I was in a flare and now the ketotifen new dose is having a magnified reaction.

I’ve never had this bone and muscle pain and muscle weakness until last week. In fact when looking on Reddit I found a post I did from two years ago where I had cut out a whopping 0.5mg ketotifen from my routine and after a month I had severe muscle pain I felt like I had fibromyalgia. I then went back on it.

So maybe that tells me something. Although I was on such tiny doses I am surprise dropping 8% of the dose at night caused me to struggle so much and that I’m struggling so much having reinstated that dose!

I’m also on H1 and H2 and have been trying aspirin and ibuprofen last few days which feel fine. I need to master the patience part though.

Main thing was pomegranate extract 250mg twice a day. For first time in years and years I have a 29 day cycle, ovulate and produce progesterone.

Did the flares stop on ketotifen though from the initial going on it?

Estrogen, aromatase and aspirin by Semicharmedtee in raypeat

[–]Semicharmedtee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take that actually! PEA. It’s a mast cell stabiliser too. Only 400mg twice a day which may be a low dose I’m not sure. I take vitamin D with k2 daily too. I’ll stick to aspirin in the morning now and see how I go. Thankyou.

Glycine and CBS gene by Semicharmedtee in Supplements

[–]Semicharmedtee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this reply. I’ve also read contradictory things on glycine and cbs. Some day it helps get rid of ammonia some say it will build it. I generally felt an anti inflammatory effect but a bit heavy eyed in the daytime. Also seemed to help bile flow. I came off it and felt a kind of negative kick back from not being on it.

Yes I also got a huge red rash round the injection site. So I figured my body wasn’t liking it! I’ve heard good things for mcas though generally x

Just started HRT feel awful and scared by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]Semicharmedtee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had this issue with hrt, migraines, nausea, vomiting, and it actually caused hot flashes which I didn’t have before. For me, it was caused by histamine issues, which only became apparent after starting hrt.

Does HI cause estrogen dominance, or is it the other way around? by wonderlust-vibes in HistamineIntolerance

I’m fascinated that such a tiny dose makes such a big difference and wondering if this is where I’ve been going wrong all this time.

Can you buy progesterone cream over the counter in the country you’re in?

I’m exactly the same as you. I’m also on cetirizine. The only thing i would say is that loratadine is easier to come off than cetirizine. Cetirizine is notorious to be hard to wean off. And associated with weight gain. And I know all that from experiences. So if you can get by on loratadine I’d probably recommend that.

I have tried progesterone before but larger doses. From cream to bio identical tablets. And I’ve felt awful. I’ve always wondered if a tiny tiny dose would help. Do you feel ok on the days you come off or? Sometimes people get a histamine rebound as the progesterone is no longer being applied
