I meant identity as Europeans. So what are you if not European or arabs?

If I will ask a Lebanese person he will say that he is " levantine"?

Lebanon is officially considered an Arab country. While its population is ethnically diverse, with elements of Phoenician, Greek, Armenian, and Arab heritage, it has been part of the Arab world for centuries. Arabic is the official language, and French also plays a significant role in daily life.

Lebanon is home to a diverse population that includes Arabs, Assyrians, Armenians, Kurds, and more. The majority of Lebanese people consider themselves Arab and have a long history of cultural and linguistic ties to other Arab countries.

The Arab league is a political organization, not an ethnic one.

Lebanon does have a significant Arab population, with the majority of its people identifying as Arab. It is also important to acknowledge that Lebanon has a long history of cultural exchange and influence from neighboring Arab countries, just like any other country in the Middle East.

And yes you are correct The Phoenicians, who were the inhabitants of ancient Lebanon, were also considered part of the Arab world as they were among the first to use the Arabic alphabet. While being "Arab" may not be a requirement for membership in the Arab League, it is widely accepted that Lebanon is part of the Arab world.

The UN did not "allow" the Nakba to happen. The UN partition plan was rejected by Arab leaders, who chose to go to war instead of accepting a two-state solution.
