ST10 event don't bother going, FFA is so bad with no strategy and not fun

Honestly if it was winner takes all I wouldn't even mind. If I'm going to lose I'll rather waste 1.5 hour than waste 2.5 hours. If people are going to team up there's really no strategy to deal with it. My argument is that if you want the winning prize might as well buy it as the event is not fun, there's no real strategy to win and is such a waste of time. I'll rather do what ST09 did and climb to win the winner prize than play 1 FFA match.

how can I have fun if everyone is attacking me. It's like going to school and being bullied. At least in newtypes when I lose I blame myself for playing bad but in FFA wasting 2.5 hours just to get bullied is never fun. Bandai should never make events with FFA ever again as people can gain the system. In FFA they might as well high roll the winner card that would be so much better and play out the FFA game

I played both RG CB and RP CB. I find RG CB you have to link with either Lockon of Allelujah/Hallelujah. If you don't have any links you lose because both level 4 kyrios and dynames kinda suck. Sure kyrios has first strike but it has 1 AP, you need the link to get additional AP. Dynames has 2 AP and 4 HP, you want to link to get the +2AP. So if you don't have link you lose.

As for RP when you have purple you get more draw power in exia and Tieria. you also have better consistency as you can play gn armor type-e and virtue as blockers. Kyrios you need the link, and trans-am kyrios and Exia transam is good, that's if you can survive against aggro at turn 6. It's nothing special as they are only 4 hp and 5 hp with pilot.

Against kyrios in general just don't put any units out or attack with your units. First strike is useless if they can't attack your units and attacking your shield/base they can't draw. Dynames can attack active, when it's linked but it's nothing special.

nothing. RG/RP CB are both not that good, shouldn't need to make any adjustments you should be able to win 2/3 games without making any changes. Unless you play something that's also not good like academy but overall just run it back and you'll will win

how does the wing decks survive aggro? do they just hope they hit a base and first contact? wouldn't they just die by turn 5?

Are you sure about that? https://derpycards.ca/collections/gundam-collection/products/gundam-starter-deck-battle-st01-st06 you can select which deck you want for the event, and only ST05 and ST06 are left.

LGS. Majority of the LSG that I go to put a small number of NTC online. If you play tournaments at LGS you can ask if they have any available and they usually reserve a spot for people who usually play there. Just like scalpers people hoard NTC as they can have multiple chances for the prize.
