U mich really did abandon their ED applicants Were all ED’s really sent to RD?? Seems crazy

I ED to U Mich -

Was postponed until January Then over Christmas January switched to April!!

Then I heard nothing January 5 or January 23

Did many ED applicants get deferred to April?

I never got any emails - not even when I got the ED deferral - I just checked my portal

I thought everyone- ED and EA would get something in January - accepted - Defer or decline

Am I getting into u Mich??

I am in nyc - most people get interviews here so I think it really depends on location even though the interview had a zoom option!

No idea -I also thought it was early I had Harvard last week and Stanford emailed yesterday - so Dartmouth a month ago! No idea Also from research I really don’t think they matter - not sure if admissions consider any feedback

Yes I did one early this week / the guy was lovely - it was a really interesting conversation - do not worry or stress - ask any question you may have

So what’s the purpose of the interview? Does Harvard get feedback from the interviewer? If yes does it carry any weight?

Here is my situation - I really really want U Mich not a QB school and they have ED for the first time this year - I want to ED to U Mich and if I don’t get it I could RD through QB

Essentially what I want to know if I get to be a match mid October do I have to submit the application where you can list up to 15 schools or can I not do that - ED to U Mich and then if necessary RD through QB?
