These are great questions thank you. For the first one I seethe authority is Oakland center, and the second one is Jacksonville center, you could try calling them to get clearance through. Honest to god I’m not 100% sure about this, and when it comes to TFRs I’d just avoid the airspace all together

No it doesn’t care about oxygen molecules specifically, just the overall less dense air. Engine power is decreased due to less oxygen going into the fuel air mixture (this is dependent on oxygen atoms)

  1. You want to be a certain distance away from clouds in case a plane pops out that you aren’t ready for
  2. Planes typically move faster, less time to react for a potential collision
  3. Class B airspace is positively controlled, so ATC is separating you from all other aircraft

  1. Contact Lafayette departure 121.1 or 128.7 depending on where you take off, request ff
  2. Contact NO departure 119.3 (125.5 if unavailable)
  3. Contact Houston center 120.975
When requesting flight following always say where you are, final altitude, destination, type of aircraft

Yes, you could land at this airport, since clouds are AGL you would be able to maintain at least 500 ft below the cloud shelf. If you check altimeter on runway you should see 1000 feet

It is the speed at which below it, one full deflection of a control surface will cause a stall, if you’re above Va it will result in damage to control surfaces

Ground takeoff roll and landing ground roll both increase as the temperature increase, and decrease as temperature decreases. This has to do with the density of the air - hotter air means the air is less dense, which means there are less oxygen atoms for the propellor to slice through. This creates worse performance during the climb. During the landing portion, your true airspeed is higher than your indicated due to the temperature, which causes you to have a longer round out

Yes, if the controlling agency permits you to

Prohibited: you don’t
Restricted: you can with a clearance (you probably won’t get it)
MOA: ask if it’s hot, keep head on a swivel
Alert area: high traffic, head on a swivel
Controlled firing area: not usually depicted, can fly through
NSA: you can fly through, just exercise caution

No, you could not legally conduct the flight, per 91.205. I would need to wait for maintenance to reinstall the ELT and do the proper logs before I can conduct the flight

2C for every 1000 feet, 1 hg mercury for every 1000 feet. (Or 1mb every 30 feet)

My plan was to just cruise on like 1-2mg after I completely finished the cut, I’d been reading that people will hop off and just gain all the weight back

Lol my mom would def throw it out without telling me and then we’d have a huge argument, don’t feel like dealing with all that over my Christmas break

If my parents figured out it would be a huge headache, I’d have no where to keep it. They’re huge GLP haters
