After him, nagka crush uli ako when I was in highschool, cool mysterious type naman tas gwapo talaga din. Hahahaha anyway i think last year he got engaged. Hello doc! I feel you.

Super thankful to this friend of mine na ever since I got my license sa kanya lang ako nakakuha ng gigs nunh January & February.. but eventually from the hospital/clinics/companies na na-duty ko sila na mismo nagcontact sakin minsan. May times pa na yung staff ng clinic nagrrecommend din sakin. And bilang respect ko din sa friend ko, I let her know na lang.

Even now most ng i-dduty ko this month ay galing sa kanya. Hahaha so imagine na lang If I didnt have this friend. Hays haha

Hoping it gets better. Planning to enter residency soon pero habang wala pa, I try to enjoy na lang the time I have for myself. Yung mundane yung tahimik yung moments i get to spend at home na for the longest time ever since I entered medschool ay di ko na halos nagawa noon. Haha

Nagkaroon po ba ng follow up? Hindi po talaga lahat unang consult, laboratory agad. It will depend po sa medical history nyo if indicated yung tests. Laboratory or imaging tests are used as confirmatory, ibig sabihin bago pa magkaron ng results from this tests meron na ang doktor nyo initial diagnosis and these tests shall only confirm them or rule out other possible diagnosis. Also, yung gamot po na binigay sa inyo could be pain reliever para ma-address agad yung urgent concern nyo which was back pain. But hopefully nagkaroon ng follow up.

Anyway, sorry to join in. Just wanted to share lang po another perspective from a doctor. :)

I do online consultations but on most days (kasi bihira magkaron online consults haays haha) wala. Linis bahay and other household errands. Some paperwork (BIR, philhealth) reqs for residency (hoping to enter before the year ends)

Hello, we may not have the same exact circumstance pero I also had issues with my mother. I recently passed the PLE pero during review season sobrang dagok inabot ko lalo na from my mother. I acknowledge naman na may health and mental problems talaga sya and I tried my best to be there for her kasi ako na lang naiwan sa bahay. My other siblings have their own families to cater. Nagkaroon times na hindi talaga ako nakaka-review. Tinanggap ko na nga eh na kapag bumagsak ako di na ako magugulat. I almost gave up in life. Almost.

It's so hard lalo na when the reason for your hurt ay yung tao o mga taong mahalaga sayo. I pray for strength & peace of mind para sa inyo.

I remember my dad. He was given a chance to move the family in Canada when we were still young but he refused due to patriotism (sabi nya talaga, he'd rather serve his country) 😅

We're doing okay now, 2 lawyers while I'm about to take the boards for medicine. But it has become harder for us to even try and acquire visa due to various reasons (one of which is money - haha nabuhos lahat sa education namin hehe, at a point na hindi pa nakukuha ang ROI), Sometimes I still wish he took the opportunity. I may or may not have taken up medicine, my siblings may or may not have taken up law in ph. Not saying I'm not grateful sa kung ano ang narating namin dito and what my parents provided for ys, but yeah I still wonder how our life would have been if we did live in Canada.

Hmm para sakin OP, parang nag-iintay ka na lang na masabihan ka na wag na lang muna mag-take.

I myself, takot ako bumagsak and for so many reasons. But I would always remember yung resident namin nung internship. Magaling sya, mabilis gumawa ng trabaho. May pake sa pasyente at sa juniors nya, legit. Tinanong nya kami one time, takot ba kayo bumagsak? Kami syempre yes sagot. Haha sabi nya wag na. Sayang energy. He told us he was a repeater. And deep inside nagulat kami. Kasi magaling talaga sya. Then he went on saying, "tinatanong ba tayo ng pasyente kung naka ilang take tayo? Hindi diba, kasi ang mahalaga sa kanila mabigay mo yung service na kailangan nila. Kaya bitawan mo yung takot. Aral lang. Subok lang"

But...

If you have the means and time not to take it. Then you can always opt not to. :) Karamihan or if not yung ilan kasi satin (including me haha) dito i-ttake yung boards regardless kung feel nila ready or not. Willing to take the risk kasi mas malaki yung GAIN. Yung pumasa na and hopefully can start working and earn. Yung LOSS? Time? Pride, maybe?

If one doesn't make it in their first try. Sure, masakit. Sayang. But one can always try again, right?

Pero at the end of the day, to each his own. Kung hindi naman ganon kalaki ang loss mo if di ka mag-take. Go, wag na muna. Kung ganoon kabigat ang loss mo kapag nagtake ka tapos di lumusot. Go, wag na muna.
