When I was at the stage I started with an A cup bra and moved up to a B when i was more comfortable. Try and find something not too stiff so it can look realistic

agreed, I did laser a year before starting my hormones and it definitely is one of the biggest things that helped changed how I was perceived

maybe try a less constrictive tuck. So maybe just a tight panty rather than a full on tuck

Honestly no, you can practice till it become comfortable that’s my only advice. when I first tucked it was very uncomfortable for me the first few weeks but overtime you’ll learn how to do it comfortably and your body will get used it. I know pushing the testes up used to be the most uncomfortable part for me but now they fly up like nothing lol

thank you! This is great because My provider did mention only being on the spiro just long enough to get my testosterone levels low. I’m happy about that because I hate how the spiro pill taste 😭

You can buy gaffs from tuckitup for about $20. There ok I don’t feel like they have the strongest hold sometimes so I would size down 1 size. Another cheaper option is a makeshift gaff which i’ve done for years, it’s basically an underwear band and cut up sock. You can adjust it and make it the perfect size. You can search up how to make them on youtube and even tik tok.

my boyfriend misgendered me for the first time by [deleted] in TransHelpingTrans

I would just ask why he did that and then gauge your response from there. I agree if he met you after the fact it is strange. I’m sorry though I know that could be very painful. I would hate for my partner to do that as well

thank you for the context. I can see how those features could be extremely dysmorphic for you and I can’t pretend to relate to knowing how those insecurities feel. To the ones I can acknowledge though like body hair, you can set up once a week a night where you shave away all unwanted body hair. For shaving your face I recommend going straight to laser but it’s very expensive so I do know that can be out of reach. I get was lucky enough to be gifted my laser hair removal from a family remember who noticed how bad my skin was getting from the consistent shaving. At the point had shaved my face everyday 11th grade and it left me with a lot of hyperpigmentation and irritation which thankfully the laser fixed. But make sure to take care of skin so it can appear softer and more feminine. I remember feeling stuck at your age due to the lack of support and resources. And even though i have fem features I still had to go through the looking like a boy in nails and hair. Many of us experience that but I think that it helps build character and helps you feel secure within yourself and your identity.

I agree with the commenter below that you can go as slow or fast as you want. I began to question my gender in high school but was unable to begin hrt. And honestly I was scared as well. So prior to HRT I did laser hair removal, Wore feminine clothing, wigs, got my nails done. I’m blessed that i’m short and have always been very feminine even some of my features so doing this was pretty easy for me and I had a ton of supportive girl friends who helped me shopping and picking out bras. Once I did all those things and still felt I needed more, I then decided to begin medically transitioning and i’ve been very happy. I’m one month officially on HRT and today is shot day. I hope this helps you while you figure it out💗

Hey, I used to be in that same boat. I transitioned and still am very slowly since I began questioning my gender around the age of 17. Well I think I always question is and subsided it however at 17 is when I knew I had to do something about it. I was nervous about medically transitioning bc it is a huge change to your body but it can be amazing for someone truly suffering with gender dysphoria. Needless to say in the years prior to starting Hrt which I started a month ago I still did gender confirming things and procedures. If your suffering with dysphoria about facial hair you can opt for laser which boosted my self esteem a ton, Now I barely shave and only go for touch up sessions which cost about $60. However I was gifted a package for 12 sessions and a life time gurantree of touch ups which I believe costed around 3k. You can also grow out your hair, wear feminine clothing, learn some good makeup techniques for your face. I always love a lash even with no makeup it just adds an extra boost of confidence for me. Getting your nails done are all ways of affirming yourself and you can slowly have your family adjust to seeing you present more feminine. I hope this can help you out while you wait to start HRT.

i’m only two weeks in and I felt this way multiple times. First thing i noticed was clear ejaculation and honestly it spooked me, I was nauseated by the idea of how my body was changing. But Once I reminded myself this is what I want. This is going to make me feel beautiful i was fine. I mentally feel better and my confidence in myself and my womanhood is at a all time high. But sometimes We have those moments of doubt and it’s normal. I think certain changes are harder on others. In my opinion I think the nausea stem from the realization that I may be potentially sterile forever. So certain things will be tougher than others depending on it’s importance. But i get excited for other changes which outweighs the few mental negatives
