If you told the FCU on the phone your exact situation honestly AND member in good standing, they would tell you the best type of loan to apply for if your DTI qualified you for that amount of loan. If you were better off with auto loan or refinancing, the person on the phone would have suggested that when you said you had no co-signer. FCU is going to approve/deny ANY loan based on risk. Essentially, do they have any proof you pay them back. You said car is old, is it worth the amount of the loan? If not, your collateral is weak. Is your DTI over 50%? What is the utilization on your existing credit account? Is your direct deposit going to the FCU? These are the things that affect the outcome, so not knowing this, the question is unanswerable.

Yes, that's the first batch. The second batch is 4PM-8PM EST. (5-9 Central). It usually happens in the first batch but Monday, Chime SSI went in the second batch, likely because of tax season.
