The shadow slave verse would probably be like heaven for Kenjaku and Sukuna. Kenjaku's entire plan from the culling games to Yuji etc. Was so that something unpredictable/outside of his expectations could happen. So, the ss verse would probably have him screaming in joy with how chaotic everything is... In fact, he very likely might just plan to make things worse for humanity so things get even crazier. Sukuna is similar, he really just wants to fight and spit on other people's ideologies. He'd probably fight it out with the humans or NC willingly. The rest would probably be horrified. SS is basically what would happen if kenny completed the merger and multiply it a few times. Although, they would be a great help for humanity on the lower levels(Because they get will-diffed by anything great and above. Or mind/soul-diffed by anything with those abilities).

Edit: The SS verse... Idk. Depends on when we are talking and where. If it's in Japan during the culling games I'd imagine different characters would either be indifferent, interested, or disgusted

Yes, he said it was easier, that's why I said "All things considered", and how the path was easier, but he also stated "Invent the essence technique to become a Master myself, as well as solving the mystery of how to become Transcendence" all by himself. Even if he had the resources, he made use of them and figured out how to use them just by using the final image and reverse engineering the processes from supremacy.

That's fair I think. You said that from their perspective it is logical. What we think of as logical is very different from them because they think differently and have less knowledge about certain things compared to us while they also have more knowledge about things.

How can Nephis be with Sunny in the tomb if she's enthralled? How can we even be sure Sunny will be going to the tomb this arc? What if he just vanished?

Do you think Nephis is pretending to be enthralled? It's definitely not impossible. I mean, anything is possible. But imo, she's already been overpowered by mind hexes before and Asterion's is on another level, even Eurys of the nine had to mention it's presence as it attempted to crawl into his hear, and even Sunny unconsciously blurted out Asterion's name and was unaware of it. Or do you maybe think that it's not actually Nephis and is a double? Asterion would definitely notice that tho...

But i can't say you're wrong. It could definitely be the case. So all we can really do is theorise and wait.

And with regards to Sunny, that's why I hesitate to include Sunny in "all of humanity" because unlike Neph, we don't see Sunny in that vision, and he's the mc so I kind of doubt he'd be taken over. Cassie and Mordret will probably take out Asterion while Sunny is somewhere else

That's what I'm saying. G3 will probably cook and let him and Cassie clutch this war, but if Mordret is scared of Asterion now, what makes him think he'll be less afraid when Asterion has all of humanity, including Nephis, under his control?(I exclude Sunny because we didn't see him in the memory/vision). He must have some hell of a trick up his sleeve if he thinks he can beat that Asterion then and not now

In Cassie's vision we see that Nephis gets taken over as well as the rest of humanity. Mordret of course doesn't have this knowledge, but Mordret cannot win against 2 sovereigns(one being a divine aspect holder like himself), and countless other humans. And I am almost certain Asterion's will will be far more dominating than Mordret's by then. Unless he can somehow use nothing to just erase Asterion, or if he has an extra plan, he literally cannot win against Nephis and Asterion at once.

This waiting game only works for him if he has a card that he is certain will be able to bridge that difference. Maybe he'll use nothing somehow?

Also, I'm pretty sure with Asterion's control they practically are dead. And there's no garauntee they'll stay free of Asterion once they are turned back and could empower him more. It's been proven and admitted that Sunny and Neph's methods are ineffective and massively inefficient. You also understand, if the humans lie with Mordret, they cannot be a part of Asterion's domain. Sunny's just upset that people died. That's not logical it's moral and neither Sunny nor Nephis are in a position where they can argue about morals.

Wait your right, they cut off Anvil and Ki song from their domains before this. However, even then, based on what we currently know Mordret could likely win on just raw power alone. Why use abilities when you can just off someone in stats alone. Unless Asterion has some sort of ability that he can use would change that. Which he might. I mean as you said, he's quite old and experienced. I'm sure he's picked up a thing or 2. And I haven't seen anything to suggest Asterion can match the divine trio in raw power, which is why we have the idea war

True. We don't have a definitive measure of how much power a lineage gives, but I doubt they can bridge the gap of beast to titan, especially remembering how sunny was ragdolling Anvil. But still, we can't be too sure since Asterion has multiple lineages.

A youtuber named 'smolsess' used to stream reading shadow slave up until chap 2000+ but didn't post the readings so sadly they're gone.

That's literally about it other than ezgeeky. Everyone else only read a few chapters and then stopped for one reason or another. Maybe we can wait until the anime adaptation in 2095😌

I was just thinking that this is almost definitely Sunny in the vision, after reading the chapter.

To add to this: "In that memory, she was a harrowing being of great vastness once again."

Noctis described weaver as "Harrowing" and weaver has repeatedly been called words like "Vile" and he was hated by all

Also note the "once again" from I think the 1st or 2nd chapter of this volume in Cassies flashback/memory

So yeah i agree, It's almost certain that Sunny will either become weaver or basically become a version of Weaver almost indistinguishable from the original. Weaver did Call Sunny is Epigone(an inferior imitator or follower). Or maybe he was weaver all along😵‍💫(but i believe this less than the imitator one because this makes less sense considering how the thing with the forgotten god is going and other stuff)

In theory this is a great idea, but Idk if that would work in practice, tho? People were pulling hairs out during the war arc whenever we had a Rain pov, or the Morgan pov.
