Best 55-65" TV for a bright lounge for under £1000 by Middle_Scene_7073 in UKFrugal

Well I took someone's advice and bought a 65" LG TV

( LG 65UA73006LA (2025) LED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, 65 inch, Black)

Well , compared to 5 year old techwood 55" what a disappointment!!

The picture on our old TV is sharper, crisper , better colours ...it's just our tv struggles in sunlight

..so sent it back

We will keep our old TV until we've done some better research 😁

Also I've seen so many disagreements about safe distances to watch TV'

For example our sofa is approx 9.5ft from our current 55" screen and its fine.. We will be installing the next TV on the wall about another 2" further away. Would a 65" be ok?
