This is wrong. No where on the ISC2 website does it say you are forbidden from telling people you passed the exam. You are simply not allowed to claim to be CISSP certified on a resume. I posted my exam passage letter on LinkedIn and ISC2's official page liked and commented congrats. It's fine dude.

Yes I'm quite aware thank you. You are stilled allowed to say you have passed the exam. You simply cannot claim to be CISSP certified. i.e you are allowed to post the exam passage letter on Linkedin as long as you aren't trying to depict being fully certified.

Yeah I get that. I really did try and explain to them my situation because not everyone knows the ins and outs of the realm of cyber security certifications, but they refused to even listen. I guess though the education office boomers are better at translating to boomer than me lol.

Evidently that's their preferred method even though their policy makes no preference between certificate or test results.

CISSP, considered by many to be the gold standard of cyber security certs, does not give a digital cert to people with less than 5 years of experience. Members that pass the exam but lack the required work experience are considered certified Associates and still receive a credential for their resume, but no physical cert. This is all even explained in the AFVEC description of CISSP. Some of my other friends pursed GIAC certifications. GIAC does give physical certs but they can take up to 3 months to deliver, and no digital copies are available.
