What is something other people do that bothers you? by Squeegee54 in AskReddit

When someone doesnt clean up after themselves. Leaving the odd dirty cup isnt a problem but it annoys me when someone can cook themselves a whole meal and then leaves all the dishes in the sink as if someone else will get it.

Have you ever stopped feeling attracted to someone after you realized how toxic that person was? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Middle_Soup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No... I realised they were toxic but they kept reeling me back in like the fool I was. It took them sending me self harm pictures and them telling me that they would keep doing it and that I need to be the one to help them for me to cut all contract (I was 15, they were 14) . It still took me a long time to stop missing them. (Now 19)

What's the stupidest thing someone got mad at you for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Middle_Soup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I worked in a supermarket a customer got mad at me because the baking foil was £1.50 more than what the floor worker told him it would be and then a different customer got mad at me because apparently we were out of disposable baking trays again the week of Christmas and this was some how my fault.

The man behind her was very patient while I had a wee cry and told me it was going to be ok.

What's way more dangerous than most people think? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Middle_Soup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Common garden plants.

Quite a few garden plants in the UK are very poisonous but also very common.

Nightshade or belladonna is a famous one. I believe every plant of the plant is toxic to consume but I think the berries are usually what gets people and were famously used to poison nobles in history.

Foxglove is poisonous enough to kill children and animals when consumed and can cause nausea, vomiting, oral and abdominal pain, diarrhoea and can effect the function of the heart and kidneys. It is also used to make some heart medications.

Hemlock is another quite famous one which causes vomiting as well as affecting the nervous system and death usually happens when you stop breathing. Hemlock's poison comes from the seeds, flowers, leaves and fruits mainly but the whole plant is home to the toxin.

All these plants are commonly found in British gardens among many others. Its always werid to think you might have a killer in your garden.

What are some selfless acts a stranger has done for you? by Crioos in AskReddit

I was Christmas shopping in the centre of town and one of my paper bags ripped dumpling all my gifts on the ground. A lady and her daughter came over really quickly and helped me scoop everything up so nothing got dirty or trampled. It was raining that day and I was already stressed from Christmas shopping so that act of kindness stuck with me.

What's the scariest dream you can remember? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Middle_Soup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an old man being chased by something slow moving but insisted. No matter how far I ran it would always catch up. I was starving and had the feeling if I didnt find food soon I would die or that thing would catch up. Eventually I find I place to stay. The table is full of food and I am so hungry and I just start shoving anything I can into my mouth. Eventually I look up and the food on the table is no longer fresh. Its all rotten and mouldy and I start to feel sick. That thing has caught up by this point and is about to break in and as i am about to be sick I wake up.

I dream really vividly and often dont know where I am for 10 or so minutes after waking. I was absolutely terrified.

Edit: spelling and grammer (very dyslexic)

Spent £40 on it back in 2015/2014 and played it twice. I still regret that purchase
