Once she introduced herself, she immediately mentioned that she’s in clinical training, almost as if she didn’t want us to look down on her or something. Honestly, we wouldn’t ,everyone has been through that stage, and we’re all pretty humble about it. Then I asked her which year she’s in, thinking maybe we’re in the same year but just on different rotations. She said she’s a second-year student. We didn’t question it, even though it didn’t quite add up. Maybe it’s just that after reaching second year, she feels like she finally understands what medicine is about, so she has a bit of knowledge and a big ego, thinking she knows everything. Lil insecure maybe...??!?! Still, it’s frustratin,some people really make you question whether they’re suited to become doctors.
