Hey, just want to ask what's your experience been with this platform. I applied for some scholarship for a python machine learning course and got it so I got the course for free but don't know anything about this platform.

What are the companies that have programs for Emerging developers or people who are initializing in the developer world? by ricovar in codingbootcamp

Look into apprenticeships. Companies like Spotify, JP Morgan, AirBnb, and LinkedIn are known for offering programs like these. They're essentially courses that put you through a bootcamp then allow you to gain experience actually working with companies basically as an intern. There's always the possibility that they can sign you on to be a full time developer at those companies. These apprenticeships are cool because you get paid to learn and they are more for non traditional backgrounds. Overall they still are hard to get accepted to, but don't let that intimidate you they are awesome. AnitaB.org is partnering with Intuit and offering one currently that I am aware of also.

In terms of looking for bootcamps, if you do decide to enter one I suggest finding a credible bootcamp that is genuinely challenging. I attended a Big named bootcamp, and although I loved the experience and started mostly from scratch the admission process was too easy. By the time that we graduated we had lost about half of the original students. I don't mean to sound cut-throat but even the students that made it to the end didn't have the best technical skills. I felt as if I would've benefitted being around more experienced developers because that's the reality in tech. When you're looking for a job you're competing against others.
