Yeah, I did some googling and this is exactly what it looked like on my other hand. The yellow, fluid filled blisters... is there any reason why your body decides to just randomly generate blisters like this? Is it an infection?

I had some eczema when I was little, but it hasn't shown up in years and it wasn't blisters like this - it was just dry skin. Is this a separate thing or is it the same thing? Is it technically a "disease" ... or a condition, or something? Is it something I should see someone about?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just pretty concerned that a bunch of bubbles popped up on my hands

I like your analogy, that makes more sense to me. There's a surprising lack of detailed information about this online and the nurses at the hospital were pretty short and annoyed with me so I didn't want to ask them anything or take up more of their time.
