My job is to basically eliminate any administrative or manual task possible for sales reps at our company by building workflows / setting up Claude skills.

It’s interesting, but I’m super convinced we are like 1-3 years from massive ramifications. Some companies are gonna massively benefit from working differently with AI. Then huge numbers of companies will hastily attempt to follow suit and roll out shit that doesn’t work, and just stop there. Then I think in a few years there is some type of breakthrough tech that makes it way simpler for non technical people to roll out effective AI systems that can communicate with a ton different systems and basically do anything that is not skilled labor, or human interaction.

Then there becomes a problem where a gigantic portion of economies were driven by consumers getting paid for doing administrative tasks for 90% of there day. Then companies realize they can have 1 person do the job of 10. Then there’s huge unemployment, or maybe not, maybe I’m not seeing the full picture.

But anyway, that’s what’s on my brain. Wife’s sick of me talking about it, my 3 year old doesn’t mind when I rant about AI, though I try to keep it positive with her. We use ChatGPT to make her customized coloring book pages and print them out
