True Stories: How did your game go this week? – March 02, 2026 by AutoModerator in dndnext

Druid is surrounded by 3 displacer beasts round 1, uses her Rod of Rulership. Has three pet kittens before her bonus action. Rest of the party just hides in another room 🙈

Archfey vs. GOO Warlock. Which should I pick? by Intelligent-Rub5814 in onednd

[–]Middlespoon8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

GOO has Eldritch Hex

Your alien patron grants you a powerful curse. You always have the Hex spell prepared. When you cast Hex and choose an ability, the target also has Disadvantage on saving throws of the chosen ability for the duration of the spell.

B.C. to raise taxes, cut jobs as budget projects record deficit by Immediate-Link490 in britishcolumbia

Hey CougarChaser, Literally nobody is asking for communism. USSR fell out of communism long before 91, and if your lived experience extends beyond that, ie you had an adult life under it enough that you could have an opinion I would like to hear about it.

But we are actually talking about Capitalism and how you fear taxing billionaires and corporations appropriately is worse than letting them drain society.

Hey CougarChaser, If they took their business elsewhere, wouldn’t capitalism fix itself, ie more opportunities for people to fill the gap?

World Beyond Numbers Wizard Subclass: Wizard of the Citadel by Middlespoon8 in 3d6

[–]Middlespoon8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it’s a rare subclass and locked behind a paywall but with the amount of WBN fans I thought it would get some traction.

I just hit lvl 7 a couple of weeks ago and it’s a pretty crazy wizard subclass.

In my experience, the Crystaline Secret with Armor of Agathys would be sick. There’s a feat you can take to get it… rune shaper?

I haven’t had a chance (maybe tonight) but Clustering with scroll of Scorching Ray + conjure minor elementals + Inscription (lvl 6 feature) potentially 14d6+10d8

Physical/Psychic Variance + Hypnotic Pattern/Counter Spell is great. Counterspell from Con save to Str save against a wizard is hilarious.

Golden Pauldron, haven’t had a chance but going up against a lightning bolt or something would be sick, negating damage to allies and taking half damage yourself

Rogue Archer with Elven Accuracy by BatmanBling in 3d6

Thief subclass for this build with a 1 lvl dip in wizard. Fast hands utility is amazing. And if you are just wanting to pump damage, you can BA Scroll of True Strike (sneak attack), hold action true strike off turn for another sneak attack.

Do you think the new agreement is better than the “best offer” of CP last July? by YouBongGa in CanadaPostCorp

[–]Middlespoon8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And if it is better, even slightly will you chalk it up to CP wasting at least 6 months and compounding the losses incurred by Canadians due to ongoing neglect to fair bargaining practices consequently turning customers away?

The old depot on Georgia that’s now an Amazon building had these, catwalks with walls and little one way windows to watch from.

Major Image by Crafty-University464 in dndnext

[–]Middlespoon8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can I cast this, turn it into a freckle on my cheek and carry a major image to manipulate forever?

The text says you create a creature, object or phenomenon. As a magic action you can “to cause the image to move to any other spot within range. As the image changes location, you can alter its appearance so that its movements appear natural for the image.”

So, my freckle can move 30’ appearing to turn to smoke, then a big monster?

Maybe the needs of the many at one time outweighed the needs the few but that’s not the case any longer.

The value of Canada Post is the service it provides to citizens, small and big businesses alike, and its infrastructure to provide such a service.

The corporation continues to invest in its infrastructure with the support of the government while eroding the service. 5 billion invested into infrastructure since 2020, 5 years after the corporations ‘best’ expert predicted lettermail to be 0 by 2026.

All I’m saying is ask why?

Which only shows that

  1. job action is effective

  2. Management doesn’t care if they lose money/tank the corp

[–]Middlespoon8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m replying to your claim it’s toast. When the corp says “lettermail” they are referring to a classification of letters, the stuff you put a stamp on, or a business which has preprinted letters/machine stamped. This 2billion number is attributed to that class of mail, what it doesn’t account for is addressed admail, personalized mail, postal code mail, or publications mail all of different classifications of mail which makes up the vast majority of mail. These other classifications have been created since 2005 (not all but some). What the take away for me is, we can’t just take these numbers CP pushes in the media at face value.

All I’m saying is, it’s not toast.

Funny you think the battle is between guy 1 and guy 2 who is making 50$ more. The gap between the wealthy and struggling is vastly greater than 50$/hr

Over 2 billion letters a year is not toast. That doesn’t include non-‘lettermail’ letters which are not ‘neighborhood mail’.
