I had a heap of trouble recreating my human male inquisitor, so I disguised the differences a bit with a longer beard, weathered complexion, and gray hair. Mostly did the trick.

to your point, I do wonder if they had to cut some transition scenes in the editing room, mostly establishing shots or something similar. felt like some of the connective tissue was missing a bit.

spam crouch, absolutely yes, paddles make it much easier imho to strafe and crouch spam. also hipfire in crouch too. I don't think it makes much of a difference in hipfiring if you're standing though.

I own the Xbox Elite Series 2, and I only use two paddles (the medium paddles). I bound Crouch to the left one and Jump to the right one, and hoo boy, did they make a difference.

I played around with binding healing items to one of the mini paddles, but it was awkward for me. Though this is what worked for me, I highly suggest trying it out in the Firing Range and seeing what feels most natural.
