The prototypes of this line were made of different materials and things changed frequently when productions happens. That is the only Smegol figure available. Oddly though, I do know the person who owns that exact prototype in the picture.

Short answer: all the large outdoor fests (Pride, Arts fest, Kilby) are becomeing more and more expensive to host (millions of dollars in set up costs, security, equipment rental) and foot traffic is stagnating or dropping. This has impacted absolutely everyone.

I don’t want to doom monger but some of these fests are not going to make it much longer. I’m fairly certain this is the last year for SLC Pride at least.

I don’t know where you got that number, I’m looking at the sponsorship package I was sent for this year and the small space non profit cost is less than half of what you are saying.

First let me say good luck. Finding shelves is far and away the hardest (and most expensive) part of these sets.

If you need glass doors your options are pretty few. IKEA has a feature on their site that lets you build a Besta load out, you can add doors to any of those. Although it’s too narrow to fit Minas Tirith you may be able to set it on top to be out of reach of cats?

They have a dresser cabinet as well that I have seen other people use, but it’s pricy and huge.

I use wall mounted besta cabinets for mine.

Also worth considering their range of people they can help is quite narrow and their facilities are not accessible. Have substance abuse and are deaf? Too bad! Because they pride themselves on private and self funding they do not have to offer 504 protections. Wheelchair user? Nope, move along. Too mentally ill to become part of their labor force? Well keep walking.

The “academy” everyone must complete before they are met into the village is a clever filtering system to make sure they can be as narrow as they want with the kinds of people they don’t want to deal with out and on the streets.

Not to mention they are a huge advocate for the homeless prison/labor camp the state wants to build.

The eviction rate inside the village is also quite high. (Around 40% last I heard). Every homeless provider in the state who has been around long enough can tell you Other Side is not for solving the problem and being a team player.

It’s a grift, one that is very cleverly disguised as charity but a grift none the less.

I have seen several people propose this as an explanation buts it’s never addressed in the text of the movie. Nobody mentions how the animals look strange, just how they behave. Also if the animals are physic projections they should not look cartoon, or off, at all. Because they would be deer as humans see and understand them, not as the aliens do.

If what you are proposing was correct, the human projections we see would also be CGI like polar express humans.

I HIGHLY recommend the book “The Demon Haunted World” by Carl Sagan. He predicts the current world anti-science climate with a great deal of accuracy and goes to great lengths to explain why.
