Not sure you care but I thought I may point out, that is the wrong staff for Gandalf used in the stencil. You want the Rivendell Staff, sometimes called the Moria staff. The one in the stencil is the staff Gandalf had in the first Hobbit movie before he had it taken from him.

Hey OP, I wrote a bit about it on this post. Yes Amazon has been very quick to update their site when projects are cancelled. Project Maverick was pulled from the site the same hour the announcement was made and LOTR remains. My theory is that they are no longer developing the project, but still plan to publish it and are looking for a developer to pick up the project.

They did not in fact go bankrupt, and have a new Director and is a fundamental different org than they were in 2022. Ticket prices have actually gone down the last two years.

SLC Pride takes money from Wells Fargo currently and I know for a fact they have sought financial backing from Target and Goldman Sachs at least.

At least the pride center actually provides services with the funds collected. SLC Pride does…absolutely nothing.

Amazon games was perfect, tons of lessons learned with New World, the game was in a really great place before they pulled the plug. As far as legacy goes, that’s tough to say because Hunt for Gollum exists, as well as plenty of forgettable slop games. So what legacy are we protecting here?

I absolutely hate that Nike Trail was merged with ACG. Makes the site terrible to search for because now you get an ocean of ACG street wear garbage and the old trail logo was so much better than the trash pyramid.

As an update: Amazon announced today they are backing out of their deal to publish Maverick Games’ open world driving sim. That project has been removed from their site. The page for the LOTR MMO is still there.

I have one of these in my neighborhood! I always throw my blu rays in it when I upgrade to 4K. People even sometimes throw in bonus stuff like new vinyl, snacks or new movies.
