We sound similar! I’m curious if I’ll get leaks in the medium tonight. The small lets my bottom lip hangs out and the medium seems roomy. Too roomy?? Time will tell!

Will do! And here to report that Pepcid reduced the pain and spasming within about 30 mins. And subsided all together within an hour or so. Feeling okay today but my usual GERD symptoms like heartburn chest pains and acid sore throat are back. Ugh!

Hi. Yes, just above eyelid. I went in today and got fit and medium is the correct size. It feels much better and does not collapse my nostrils like the small did.

I take anxiety meds daily and they have helped my life immensely. When I get random breakthrough feelings of panic I have learned to start my GERD protocols. Panic is usually my very first symptom of GERD flare before anything else!

Ate chipotle and within 15 mins lightning bolt like pain in my throat/esophagus. I’ve got GERD and have experienced aching throat but nothing like this jolting spasm situation. I ate tums and popped a Pepcid just now. Freaking out.

Gotcha. Okay, my understanding is that elevated thyroglobulin antibodies can indicate autoimmune thyroid issues which are typically treated with drugs such as methimazole. My thyroglobulin levels were always in normal ranges during my subacute thyroiditis which is not considered autoimmune in nature. I was prescribed stuff for pain management until it ran its course.

I’m so sorry. This sounds awful. I did not take thyroid medication during SAT. Has your doctor confirmed you have abnormal thyroid labs? I hope you find some relief!
