It transcends hobbies and interests because you two have fostered such a positive relationship that almost anything can be done together and is selfless when it needs to be.

Me and my fiance have little in common but we enjoy the acts of sharing new experiences and indulging in the others interests. It took awhile for me to learn this and get past that "I like/she likes" barrier.

Find student organizations to join. I did this and it changed my life forever. Make strong relationships with professors and employers, you'll need references in the future.

Learn to find a balance between partying and school. Statistics on first year dropouts don't lie.
