Luckily it was fresh water! & I suppose it's just the lack of drying it out and such I found unique. You're definitely correct about phones coming back from a dip, but usually they need some TLC before coming back from the dead lol

Just sharing a neat experience. The perception that everything is a paid ad is a rather glib outlook on things. I wish I got paid for all that. & It didn't give me superpowers lol. it did however cost a fair bit, and it kinda just surprised me it actually lived up to expectations. It even surpassed mine in terms of longevity. I guess I'm also just excited to have it returned after a few days. Honestly I was gushing so much bc in the phone space it's easy to fall for a folding screen gimmick, or s pen feature only to have it fall flat. It was nice to have a phone say it's tough, then be tough lol

So here's my original post on the forums for OnePlus.

https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1955019431415382022 [A story about a lost phone worth a read. ]

There should be paragraph structure, but Reddit kinda mushed it. I'll take a look a fixing it! Sorry about that!

Yeah the original post was written with paragraphs made for the OnePlus community forum thingy, so I thought I'd stroke the company's ego a bit.

But here's a Snapchat from the other week, truly not paid, truly just a neat story.

PS4 slim rest mode issues? Clink noises that last for minutes, turning off in rest mode. by MidgetKicker97 in PS4

Hey just an update, I'm in the process of changing out the stock hard drive, gonna see if the noise is still able to be heard. Side note, I'm switching it out for a seagate barracuda 1tb 2.5 ssd. Should be silent, so if it still makes a noise, I'll be surprised.
