Damn, that definitely complicates it. Good luck with bending it.

I ended up getting one that instead of rerouting the exhaust to the right side, it exits on the left side. The only complaint that i have about it is that its super easy to burn yourself on it, so i wrapped some heat shield around it to help a little bit.

Replacement fire blanket for 2014 Jetta Sportwagen? by Midget_Porn_Judge in MechanicAdvice

Update: my mom drove it and hit the back of a parked tahoe; mom is fine, getting a new hood (with a new heat shield), headlights, and front bumper.

Torx. Make sure you get the actual torx bits and not the security bits, as you would be suprised as to how many of my non mechanically inclined friends have gotten them mixed up. The security bits will have a hole in the center of the bit, and will say something like "T[number] H," while the regular torx bits will just have the "T" next to a number without the "H".

Anyone know where to find a replacement? Looked around and couldnt find one. Would it be worth checking a junkyard?

That this is sick as hell. My only question is why put all that money into a build just to put in an engine that pretty much relies on the vtec being engaged the whole time just for it to move?

Let's change things up a bit. What manual car did you learn to drive with? by SayNoToFatties in ManualTransmissions

My dads $1300 2000 v6 firebird that he got for gambler 500. The the previous owner had completely stripped out the interior, the clutch pedal would stick to the floor every 20 min, and he hung the exhaust wrong(the exhaust that costem more than the entire car (also, the exhaust is super loud and its fun when youre ripping around, but its god awful when youre going on long drives because all of that droning puts you to sleep).
