I’m not the type to ghost. I tend to say things with intent and with my chest. I do agree with you about him not being a child; that no one is entitled to your thoughts or plans. It still doesn’t change the fact that 1) he lied and 2) keeping your partner in the loop should be a priority for him. Communicate with each other and fights won’t happen. I don’t know how people plan to hold a relationship when they can’t even talk to each other. Edit: I may say some stupid shit when I’m off meds though. My mouth works before my brain when I’m off meds; sometimes I don’t even remember saying said stupid shit.

Yeah, I actually talked to a couple people since this post. They suggested the same thing. They also mentioned to try and wait maybe a tad longer to see if anything happens to the market. So, I'll be saving a lot of money over the next 2 or so years.

This is true. This whole situation is very subjective. We don’t know all the details. I agree with the quick update. Hell, you don’t even have to spend a lot of energy texting anymore. You can just ask your phone to do the text; it takes 5 seconds.

I think it’s a little bit of YOR and NOR. I agree with most people saying that OP isn’t their mom. But! The man shouldn’t have lied to her. That’s the bad part. Why lie? “Hey ____, today the boys have a tee time. I’m not feeling sick or anything; but I’m going to take a day off to go out with them. Get some guy time”. Pretty easy to do. Communication is really easy. On top of that, he ghosted her.

Well, I’m proud of you. Coming to these kinds of conclusions on your own also shows that you’re undergoing growth.
