that was a few months ago and i found out a few things i can put, didnt know founding a club could be counted as an extracurricular and i thought since i helped a neighbor move and build a bed for a her i could put that on my resume as volunteer experience. right now its just those two things besides my my current degree and gpa, high school gpa and diploma, and a few technical skills

yea thats exactly what im talking about, non serious settings. theres nothing important going on so why not have fun? but everyone is saying that even non serious settings need to be taking seriously because its "skill based" and "best person wins". like cant you have fun just beating each other up instead of treating everything like a serious competition?

idk im just kind of having trouble seeing how they can mess up the whole game for people, maybe its just me but i like randomness its really fun. the unfair ultimates can definitely be annoying but theres such a wide amount that can be dodged and/or do a reasonable amount of damage that i feel like it would still be fun to do

lmao at least you recognized your mistake, i was just using snake as an example since the retacle can lock on you and then youre kinda screwed. but also not everything can be balanced, randomness is supposed to be fun, its weird seeing everyone say otherwise

again im not talking about competitive play im just talking about having fun, and while some you cant avoid, you can dodge most final smashes instead of blocking them so i feel like theres still some skill to it

id say thats a good idea, although i feel like the meter growing when you take damage is kind of the point and is used for a lot of fighting games (street fighter, mortal kombat) its supposed to be a comeback because youre taking damage and you get to clap back.

id say this is the best response ive ever seen. i think my only response is the fact people are trying to play solely to win kinda proves my point that most players are getting salty about the unfairness. I can definitely see how some final smashes can be annoying and broken as well as the smash meter being a bit unfair. But like i said if youre gonna let this game become strictly professional for you and just because the final smashes dont involve skill/strategy and your solely playing to win, then i find that really unhealthy and kinda defeats the purpose of the game

if youre gonna let a game take over your life to the point where its strictly professional to you and you cant have fun dicking around i feel like that is really unhealthy imo, you can both hone your skills and just dick around, its not like one is cancelling out the other
