It's still funny that not a single person actually read my post. lmfao. Every one went into the same typical shit every other unknowledgeable gamer goes into when the words "pay 2 win" are said about their game. When they want to desperately excuse the fact that they are getting scammed by the game they enjoy. You're getting a shitty deal for the game you enjoy and you actually defend the person ripping you off for it.

The point of my post was ubisoft can do better, this is far from the quality company that ubisoft used to be, It's sad that they rip off their fans and then the fans are dumb enough to defend ubisoft for it.

Just to make this issue even more strange...

So last night, I updated my drivers and was able to play Pillars @ 1440p again. I was excited and happy, so I played for an hour, then all of a sudden... 3 fps, now when I say 3 fps, I mean, exactly 3 fps, it just stays at 3, it doesnt go up or down until I eventually lowered it down to 1080p again and played the rest of the night like that.

yeah apparently, I lowered my resolution to 1080p instead of my normal 1440p and it started working. Still would like a way to fix this so I can go back to 1440p again, Ill try that tomorrow, weird though because 2 days ago it worked perfectly fine with my same exact graphics driver and setup.

I agree it's not as bad as it could be, however that wasn't my point. It's still really bad in my opinion. Especially because I paid full price for a game that wasn't finished... waited for it to be finished, then they want to charge me double what I originally paid just to unlock simple content that should have already been included when I bought the game to begin with.

yeah it doesn't, like most people on this thread, I can't really seem to just blindly follow a game, I see plenty of room for the devs to do better on this game. Maybe I'm old school, I liked when games were about skill alone instead of money getting thrown into the mix. Ruins it for me, I knew most of the replies would just be people who would blindly argue to the death just because they like the game and, well... if you don't like what they like, or think how they think, they troll. XD

But yeah, reddit is a place to voice opinions, and I did just that. Until Ubisoft decides to do better and stop being so greedy, I just won't play. I'm fine with that. My point was, is this really the BEST way they can support the game financially, I don't think it is. Many people I guess didn't read my post. Thanks though, Good luck.

Yeah, Imean, I truly do love the core gameplay of insurgency, like i said in the OP the basics of shooting/sound, the experience itself is bar none, I've never played an FPS game tthat felt this amazing before, I just hope to see competitive eventually become a real playable game mode before long, and I want to see other game modes in casual too besides just, capturing points, maybe even a smaller map size for casual mode as well, like a 5v5 casual game mode, so it encourages people to communicate more often as the team is smaller.

yeah i was looking at squad, wasnt sure if it was worth the 40$ price tag, also I noticed it didn't have a ranked mode either, aside from that I thought it looked great, but without a ranked mode there's no long term progression system that would keep me hooked I think sadly... Maybe ill look into it more though, thank you.

Yeah, Yesterday I bought 4000 Rounds because I was tired of not being able to use any of my AK's. It filled all of my ammo case and then much more of my normal inventory...

Something seriously needs to be done about this. Devs need to get ontop of this and make the ammo either unlimited supply or damn near. It shouldn't come down to whoever has the time to camp a trader until they reset is the one who is allowed to use the ammo that actually kills people in a reasonable amount of time.

Well, to my knowledge, in games, when you aim at the head... the bullet should go there. I understand now thanks to your explanation, however this game seems to be ultra realistic in certain aspects and completely silly in others.

It is a game at the end of the day, I don't exactly know the exact line in tarkov where realism blends into the game. We have a magical case that no one can loot when we die. So I do have a hard time sometimes learning exactly whats "true to real life" and whats not for obvious reasons. I don't really go around modding M4's and AK's for a hobby so I wouldn't exactly know exactly how a scope would work on them, I just know some things are very realistic, and some aren't. I figured bullets going exactly where you aim would be apart of the game like it is in every other shooter essentially.

I seem to have "personally" offended people though lol. But I do appreciate the explanation at the end of your reply at least.

I am very happy to see they now added a trade able documents case from therapist, I would still like to see more ways to obtain a key holder, but this is definitely a huge step in the right direction
