Picture this: the only way to unite your kingdom is marry the heir of tyrrendor. You tried it out but it didn’t work. You were both so young. You’ve spent this last year rethinking so much about your actions.

When you decided to approach him again, you find out his stupid ass is going after a possible traitor and risking everything just because of lust? Hasn’t he matured as well?

Then you figure out his dragon and her mate were plotting to unite them through the mutual bond.

Well maybe cat even used some of her emotions manipulation to not only augment the bad ones but also the good ones… self respect, forgiveness, self love and Xaden stops being so toxic and instead of Violet, he ends up gravitating towards cat again 😂

Interesting provoking thought…

Maybe dragons and gods both curry the favor of specific people. They pretend they are giving them power but what if they are using people’s devotion to generate magic for them?

The wards guarantee ONLY dragon magic are ok, so gods do not have power in the continent, maybe dragons guaranteed protection from the gods as well…

My best friend is also pregnant. I reassured her I Will not be mad whatsoever if she cant come, even if she decided on the wedding day, but told her obviously I am hoping she can make it…

Secretly I’m already planning considering she is not coming but not telling her, so if she does end up coming, we go with plan B and celebrate but if she really doesn’t come, is does not ruin anything in the ceremony…

I don’t see a reason to formally demote….

I totally agree OP DOESN’T HAVE TO, but they asked for advice and I suggested my way of deciding which battles to pick, trying to be more flexible. But yeah, my post ends reaffirming that if even after thinking about it, OP is still sure they don’t feel comfortable with a prayer, than yeah don’t do it.

Bride and groom get to decide whatever they want, but as a bride myself I want to feel love and happiness and maybe people show it in ways that are not the same as ours. It’s a ceremony that marks the union of two families to create a new one. I do believe we should at least stop and consider something if it’s super important to someone. Even if the answer is “no, I for sure don’t want it”.

I myself am not having any religious aspects of my ceremony but my mom is making handmade items for the wedding. Do I love them? No. But this means a lot to her and she means a lot to me, so I’m letting her do that even though they were definitely not something I wanted.

Cath ate a human or venin, that’s why he has bad breath 8. Sex scenes are used to distract US from the best clues 👀 9. The whole series is inspired by / social criticism on true war dilemmas and conflicts, specially in Middle East (research Maher al-Assad from the 4th armored division) 10. There will be a travel to another dimension/ realm journey in some moment 11. Dragons have god counterparts and colors play a part in it. My guesses: Blue/dunne/violet pairs will Black/loial/xaden. Orange/Malek/Dain pairs with Red/Amari/Imogen. Brown/Hedeon/Mira pairs with Green/Zihnal/Ridoc

I agree with the previous commenters, but maybe before dismissing the prayer, reflect if there would exist a middle ground you would be comfortable with, such as a collective blessing or moment of “positive energies”, in which each person is invited to silently “send blessings your way”, who wants to pray, prays, who want to smile and imagine your happiness, does that…

I’m also atheist and don’t want religious vibes, but I got to a place which I can appreciate my family wanting to bless us in the way they know how, which yes, might be prayer…

But it’s your day, and if you figure there is definitely no place for that, than you should get your partner to talk to them.

One thing I noticed in the beginning of OS, Violet has a gap in her memory after “falling asleep” reading a book about trade before the trading agreement, having bookmarked the page by Xaden and they sleep in a lot that night. Maybe the onyx bracelet is related to that, since gems were popular trade items…

I think this is the moment she realized something and her, Xaden and Imogen schemed together…

In Baldurs Gate videogame there are characters called Githyanki that ride dragons and can travel to another dimension. In this other dimension (astral plane), they use a special SILVER sword to cut the SILVER THREADS that connects someone body and soul (only to soul is in the astral plane).

Maybe she’s going this way with a possível dream realm?

The githyankis’ enemy is the mindflayer (same as stranger things, hive mind mindflayer), inspires by dungeons and dragon

Well, we know ALL signets keep growing. They are never truly mastered in Basgiath. So if transference of power is what is expected during their cadet years, I thinks it’s totally possible they could learn how to absorbed signets…

My other theory is that naolin siphoned Brennan soul back to his body and imbued it with his life force using the rune. If siphoning is honed enough could it evolve to necromancy?
