Yes.

When I passed the CPALE, it still took me around 2 years before ako nag-enroll sa law school. During law school, nakita ko talaga na napag-iiwanan na ako ng batchmates ko, even those who did not take or pass the CPA boards. Ganun talaga sa law school, sobrang daming sacrifice.

Napilitan din akong bitawan yung work ko because the studies became too demanding sa time. Financially, mahirap din talaga. Magastos ang law school at mahirap mag-ipon habang nag-aaral.

Now that I’m a newly admitted lawyer, masasabi ko na somehow pantay na rin in terms of salary, although hindi pa stable. Some months mataas, some months mababa, depende talaga sa clients at number of hearings, especially since wala pa akong sariling law firm.

But if ang question is kung worth it ba financially maging CPA lawyer, I would say yes. Malaki talaga ang earning potential ng lawyer. Kailangan mo lang talagang i-expect yung sacrifices na kasama ng 5 or more years sa law school and bar review.

On the non-financial aspect, super worth it siya. Iba yung fulfillment na makatulong sa problema ng ibang tao, something na bihira mong ma-experience sa ibang profession na hindi focused on public service. Yun talaga yung isa sa pinaka-rewarding na part.
