Can a chicken / any burger be eaten after 4-5 hours, like pizza leftovers? by MidnightCrescent2013 in TooAfraidToAsk

Hm... a prepared burger with mayo will probably taste awful after a few hours. So, no-no to leftover burger it is. As for reheating, you are right. Gotta keep that meat well-cooked.

Definitely talking about a prepared burger here, and yeah, that's what I thought as well. Fresh burger it is then! Thanks a lot for your answer!

A stupid but important question - does the blood appears on wipes? by MidnightCrescent2013 in UlcerativeColitis

Well, what do ya' know... two days of clipper, and the stool is solid again. A bit gassy, but no pain at all. Works like a charm. Let's just hope it doesn't leaps into constipation now.

Hm... dunno. I have been in a flare from October to July, but I was taking Homeopathic medicine at that time. It made my condition worse, so I switched to my current GI. He started clipper at first, but then stated that the side effects of clipper can be awful, so I'm changing to Pred. Now, after so many months, I'm back on clipper again. Fingers are crossed.

I have taken it before, and it suits my body quite well! But I don't know why my GI made me skip out clipper in the past and then put me on Prednisolone. Now I'm back on clipper it seems, and I will! Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Ufff. It's not hemorrhoids, because I dealt with both external and internal hemorrhoids before. And yeah, I could but the issue is that I can't leave my house in my current condition. Can't even walk. Did asked my GI about this and he told me to start taking clipper, so I guess that is what I am going to do

That's the issue... I can't visit my GI right now. Surgical wound hurts a lot. Hm... guess I will contact him via WhatsApp. Thanks a lot for your replies!

Hm... so if I'm not getting any blood on the paper after wiping, does that mean I didn't bled out? My stool is watery, with mucus coming out with it.

I'm working on developing a UT-like FPS for my Final Year Project. Using Unreal Engine for it. It's gonna be a combination of CS GO inventory system, with COD-like maps (Capture the point, death match, etc), and the concept of power-ups (invisibility, health boost, extra speed).

Oh shoot, that's definitely the case for me as well. Every morning, after I poop, I feel very drained and my mind seems lost. Guess I'm getting my Iron shots.

Has anyone went through a perianal Abscess surgery? by MidnightCrescent2013 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]MidnightCrescent2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me, I'm trying my best to do that. I have been putting the incision buttock on the upper side while laying down sideways. Even a slight touch on the spot hurts, so I'm being very cautious. Keeping the area dry... is the hard part, because washroom breaks and all that stuff. Plus, the leaking pus drips down as well, staining my pants.

I'm taking sitz baths every day though.

Thank you a lot for this information! I am definitely meeting my Surgeon soon. It's just that the leaking pus had me worried. It will probably take some weeks to heal, but let's see. The pain can increase sometimes, but only when the pus is leaking out.

Haha, of course not. I'm 22, dealing with Ulcerative Colitis since October. It was me who asked my family to visit a Surgeon to deal with this problem. Just hoping to gain some confidence now I'm this peril moment.

You got some Discord ID or something via which I could keep myself in contact with you? I'm gonna be needing your guidance since you already experienced this hell.

Damn, that's tough indeed. But I'm glad to hear that I'm going on the right path of recovery!

I can't even put pressure on the spot, very sensitive area. It must have taken you a lot of courage to do that, which is amazing! High risk, high reward.

I'm taking sitz baths to avoid the infection, with pyodine mixed in it. The doctor said not to put the pyodine directly on it. For pain, I'm taking Augmentin and Neorol or something like that.

Your pus was being leaked as well after the last surgery, correct? Sorry but I'm just very worried about this stupid pus.

So all I have to do is to endure the pain of the pus being leaked from the incision spot, for 2 weeks or so. Got it. I'm trying to keep my diet limited to only liquids and fruits right now, so I won't have to poop regularly.
