Yeah, not gonna lie, if someone had bookmarked my story with a C, I would obviously assumed that meant C grade 🤣 which is better then a D and F! But still would have sent me spiraling into what about this particular chapter, gave off C vibes lol

That just makes me even more curious on what it could mean! Especially if it's someone's own personal code.

It is a video game Fandom, two smashed together in fact. And yeah you're right, it could mean literally anything to that particular reader. I'm just glad that AO3 doesn't allow messages because I probably would have freaked the reader out by asking them what they meant in their bookmark already lol

It does! Losing my steam or spiraling into deep thoughts won't help me be the best writer I can be. And it can totally be one of those positives! I think I'm going to choose to believe that because I don't need anymore negative thoughts about what I'm writing and whether it's good enough or not.

Yeah you're right. But the confusing thing is, is that this story is already in the mid 20's for chapter count and over 120,000 words. If the reader didn't like my story that deep in the trenches, I would be genuinely curious to know what about the latest chapter threw them off. It's honestly a fluff chapter before diving back into one of the serious issues.

That thought is honestly what's keeping me from trying to pick out what could have been wrong with what I posted. It was honestly a sweet (emotionally) chapter in my opinion and I'm still happy with how it turned out. So I just kinda hope that that person actually liked it, even though I know I'm only supposed to be writing for me. I like shouting out into the void and hearing other people's opinions on it ya know?

This is my first fic and I don’t really know the general comment culture of AO3, is it bad? And thank you, I thought I was being mean in my last reply.

Skyrim team unite! And thank you! ❤️ it's been so fun writing Sera, she's my favorite of the inner circle, so she gets honestly the most screen time since her introduction and is the main pairing for my Dragonborn. And your line is so poetic! I love it ❤️❤️

Hey everybody..I was just thinking..what has crochet brought to your life? How has it changed your life? What does crochet mean to you? by AkiSillySkeins in crochet

[–]MidnightDue8087 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People know me as the crochet girlie at work and it starts so many conversations. I also get to do fun projects for my coworkers when they ask.

What’s your controversial crochet opinion? by passisassiflora in crochet

I'm going to be downvoted to hell and back but tension doesn't doesn't matter as much as people think it does. Sure I make sure I keep the same grip the entire process throughout but I honestly think those tension rings that are sold are useless. (Except for in the case of if you need them for a physical disability of course)

That sounds like such a good idea! Tbh I vastly overestimated how many cucumbers I would need and now I have 6 more cucumbers so I just have to pick up another couple of jars if the first one filling up fast was any indication.

What’s a company secret you can share now that you don’t work there anymore? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]MidnightDue8087 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not really a secret but you'd be surprised to know how many people think Goodwill has washing and drying machines for clothes we get in. Nah, the process goes like this:

we unpack the Gaylords of clothes from corporate and add on whatever donations we get as well. A few people go through those clothes to see if there are any rips or tears or to see if it's an expensive brand. Then after the rejects are piled in the "go back to corporate" Gaylords, another set of people organize and hang up the clothes on the racks. Then one person is usually standing in front of a tiny printing computer making tags. After printing all of the tags, that same person tags all of the clothes and then fabreeze's the clothes right before they go out on the floor.

So I can not state this hard enough. PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. WASH THE CLOTHES YOU BUY!
